I ricercatori del Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute di Los Angeles hanno esaminato le cartelle di 567 persone che avevano avuto un attacco di cuore fuori dall'ospedale, chiedendo anche ai parenti se ci fosse stato qualche segno premonitore. Il risultato e' stato che nel 53 per cento dei casi c'era stato
• dolore al petto,
• palpitazioni,
• respiro corto
• o vertigini fino a un mese prima dell'evento.
